What to Expect from Your First Domestic Clean

Before we arrive
Your first visit is as much about setting expectations as it is about cleaning. A quick tidy — clearing kitchen worktops, hanging up coats and making beds — lets our cleaner focus on the detailed work you are paying for rather than sorting clutter.
Please have suitable cleaning products accessible at the property. We can advise on what works best for kitchens, bathrooms, and floors before your appointment.
- Confirm parking, entry codes or key collection arrangements
- Note rooms to prioritise or areas to avoid (home offices, nurseries)
- Share any fragile surfaces or product preferences in advance
- Ensure pets are secured if your cleaner is not expecting them
What a standard visit includes
- Vacuuming and mopping hard floors
- Kitchen surfaces, hob exterior and sink
- Bathroom sanitisation — toilet, shower, basin and mirrors
- Dusting reachable surfaces and light tidying
- Bed making and rubbish removal where agreed
After your first clean
We aim to assign the same cleaner for regular clients so they learn your home layout and preferences. Visits typically last 2–4 hours depending on property size. If you need more time, we can adjust before your next booking.
Payment and scheduling run through our client portal — message your team, view checklists and manage visits in one place.
